Eye of God Craft Project
With God's help, we can see things clearly and live a good life.
This weaving project comes from Mexico. The "Ojo de Dios" means eye of God.
You will need: | ||||

Instructions | |||
1. | Measure craft sticks and make a mark in the middle of each stick (For example, with 6" craft sticks, make mark at 3") | ||
2. | Place a drop of glue on the mark, and with the mark side up on the other stick, glue them together. To make sure they are square, use a piece of cardboard example | ||
2. | After the glue has dried, number the ends of the sticks 1-4. | ||
3. | Tape or glue the end of the yarn behind stick #1. | ||
4. | Bring the yarn over the top of stick #1 from left to right. Do the same for #2, #3, #4 and continue until each stick is covered. get started video | ||
5. | When the sticks are covered, cut the yarn and use a drop of glue to attach it to the top (side facing you) of the last stick. | ||
Variations: Use beads or stickers to cover the end of each stick. Make a loop of string and glue it to the end of a stick to hang up your 'eye.' . | |||
