The Eye is the Lamp of the Body

²² The light of the body is the eye: if therefore your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light.

²³ But if your eye be evil, your whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Luke 11: 34-36

³⁴ The lamp of your body is your eye: when your eye is single, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is evil, your body also is full of darkness.

³⁵ Look therefore whether the light that is in you be not darkness.

³⁶ If therefore your whole body be full of light, having no part dark, it shall be wholly full of light, as when the lamp with its bright shining does give you light.
