The Sixth Commandment
Exodus 20:14
14 You shall not commit adultery.
Matthew 5: 27-28
27 “ You have heard that it was said, ‘ You shall not commit adultery’;
28 but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
From Luther's Small Catechism:
The Sixth Commandment: Thou shalt not commit adultery.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God that we may lead a chaste and decent life in words and deeds, and each love and honor his spouse.
