Twenty association members were present including board members Ray Johnson, Wescott Tommerdahl, Aron Kassenborg and Harold Horpedahl.

The meeting was called to order by President Aron Kassenborg.

The 2011 Secretary's Report was presented and motions by Don Johnson and Gordon Kassenborg to accept the report as read. A vote was taken and the motion passed.   

The 2011 treasurer's report was given by Ray Johnson who presented three revenue and expense projections highlighting the need to maintain income from interest bearing investments and the impact of fewer memorials.  As association CD's have matured most have been reinvested with ELCA. While not FDIC insured, they've proven to be safe investments and provided a significantly higher interest rate thus maintaining revenue for the association. Also discussed were the cost of grounds maintenance  and the possibility of asking for volunteers for lawn mowing. A request was made for anyone willing to accept the lawn mowing position to contact a board member.  Motion to accept the treasurer's report was made by Lloyd Gunderson  and Harold Horpedahl.  A vote was taken and the motion passed.

OLD BUSINESS

The board thanked all members for donations of time and money this year, also Stacy and Donald Johnson for mowing the cemetery, Val Hagene and Don Johnson for mowing the Leif Erickson cemetery, Lloyd Gunderson for auditing the association books, and Alene Grover Sladky for maintaining the website.

The board also thanked Lloyd Gunderson, Harold Horpedahl, Kathy Krogstad, Orpha Hoelstad, Pastor Bruce and Ray Johnson  for their work on the Memorial Service.

NEW BUSINESS

The three year board member positions for Aron Kassenborg and Ray Johnson had expired and both volunteered to be re-elected. Harold Horpedahl and Lloyd Gunderson made motions that both should be re-elected.  A vote was taken and the motion passed.

The 2013 annual spring clean-up was announced; the dates are May 22, 2013  at 5 pm with the alternate date of May 24, 2013 at 5 pm.

The Memorial Day service was announced, the date is May 27, 2013 at 10 am.

Motions were made by Harold Horpedahl and Gordon Kassenborg to adjourn the meeting.  A vote was taken and the motion passed.
