Memorial Day Services

Each year, the Cemetery Association sponsors a service on Memorial Day to honor the veterans buried in Concordia Cemetery.  Lunch follows the service.

In 2018, Markus Krueger from the Historical & Cultural Society of Clay County (MN) produced a video focusing on members from our community who served in World War I. You can view it here.

HCSCC explored World War One and its effect on those in the county in an exhibit in 2018-2019.  Included in that exhibit, this video used photos and diary entries by Adele Thortvedt to describe the impact of Eugene Studlien's funeral in 1921.
