Holy Week
 | The last week of Lent (the week before Easter) is known as Holy Week. It is also the last week of Jesus'life. Holy Week begins with Jesus entering Jerusalem and ends with his Resurrection. Select the story of your choice: Palm Sunday: Jesus enters Jerusalem Monday: Jesus tosses money changers from the Temple Tuesday: Jesus visits the temple and offers prophesies at the Mount of Olives Spy Wednesday: The priests and Pharisees plot to arrest and kill Jesus. Maundy Thursday: Last Supper (Passover Feast) - Judas betrays Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane Good Friday: Peter Denies Jesus - The Crucifixion Holy Saturday: The Sabbath lasted from sunset on Friday until sunset on Saturday. It was a day of sadness and confusion, of loss and anticipation of the resurrection to come. Sunday: The Resurrection |
