"Build an Altar" Craft Project
You will need: | ||||

Instructions | ||
1. | Prepare the butterscotch squares according to the recipe. Cut into 3" squares. Use 3-4 pieces to make each altar. | |
2. | Put 2-3 tablespoons of white frosting in a bowl. | |
3. | Add 1 drop of red and 1 drop of green food coloring. Mix well (makes brown). | |
4. | Use the knife to spread a small amount of brown frosting between altar layers to hold them together. | |
5. | Place 1-2 tablespoons of white frosting in a bowl. | |
6. | Add 1 drop of red food coloring and 3 drops of yellow. Mix well (makes orange). | |
7, | Place a small amount of orange frosting on top of the 'altar' to represent the fire. | |
8. | Cross a few pretzel sticks on the frosting to represent the wood for the fire. | |
