| Instructions |
| 1. | Print the tree pattern on two pieces of card stock and cut them out. | |
| 2. | On each tree piece, measure 5" down from the top of the tree and make a small mark. Use the ruler to draw a straight line down the center of one tree from the top to the mark. Use the ruler to draw a straight line up the center of the other tree to the mark. Carefully cut along each line. | B |
| 3. | Slide the tree with the bottom slit into the top slit of the other tree piece. Rotate the piece with the bottom slit 1/4 turn. Make any adjustments so the tree will sit on a table. | |
| 4. | Make tree decorations! Draw ornaments or cut them out of catalogs or printed from the internet. Draw your own and color them. | |
| 5. | Slide the tree pieces apart and decorate both sides of each piece. To string garland on the tree, match up the two tree pieces and cut notches to hold the garland. | |
| 6. | Slide the tree back together. String garland. | |
