WHAT YOU NEED

2 pieces of felt at least 7" by 7" for star, any color

star pattern

complimentary colored thread

stuffing (cotton batting, pillow stuffing, etc.)

4" piece of narrow ribbon in a complimentary color

star decorations (beads, stickers, bric-a-brac, etc)

plus

scissors

needle

pin

craft glue for attaching decorations

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Print star pattern.

2. Use the pattern to cut two stars from felt.

3. Decorate both pieces of felt with beads, ribbon, etc.

4. Sew the two pieces of felt together, decorated sides out, leaving the top spike of the star open.

5. Fill the star with stuffing, spread evenly.

6. Fold ribbon in half and tuck into unsewn top of the star.  Use a pin to hold in place.

7. Sew the top of the star together and remove the pin.
