Baked Clay Pendant Project
Create a symbol of your faith that you can wear with pride!
You will need: | ||||

Instructions | |||
1. | Prepare clay: In mixing bowl, knead salt, flour and water. | ||
2. | Preheat oven to 300 degrees. | ||
3. | Take roughly 1/3 cup clay and knead in desired food coloring. Flatten using a rolling pin or bottle. | ||
4. | Use a cookie cutter, or shape with hands into desired shape. | ||
5. | Use toothpick to add a design to the face of your pendant. Simple designs might be a fish or a cross. | ||
6. | Use the toothpick to make a hole through the top. | ||
7. | Place on parchment on a baking sheet. | ||
8. | Bake in oven for about 1 hour. | ||
9. | Remove from oven; place on rack to cool. | ||
10. | Use toothpick to push ribbon or shoe lace through hole. | ||
11. | Tie around neck at desired length. Trim ribbon/shoe lace. | ||
