| Instructions |
| | 1. | Print the bird template and select either a dove or cardinal for your project. | |
| | 2. | Place 2 pieces of felt together and use the template to cut two identical bird forms. | |
| | 3. | Use fabric glue to glue the two felt birds together. | |
| | 4. | Fold the wings down. | |
| | 5. | Make an eye on each side of the bird by gluing the two small beads into place. | |
| | 6. | Snip a small piece of greens. | |
| | 8. | Use the end of the knife to make a small cut through the felt "mouth" large enough to slide the greens through, but small enough so that the greens will hold securely. | |
| | 9. | Not shown: Use the knife to make a small hole at the top of the head. String the fishing line through the hole and tie the ends to hang your bird on the Christmas tree! | |
