Pentecost Wind Sock Craft Project
You will need: | ||||

Instructions | |||
1. | Cut tissue paper into 1" by 12" strips | ||
2. | Tape or glue the strips of tissue paper to one of the long edges of the cardstock. | ||
3. | Flip the cardstock over. Draw fire and doves on the cardstock, or paste from pattern. Color using crayons, paints, glitter, etc. | ||
4. | Evenly space and punch four holes on the opposite edge from the streamers. | ||
5. | Roll the cardstock into a tube and staple the 8" sides together. | ||
6. | Run one end of the string through each hole from the inside out. Tie a knot at the end of each string to hold the string in place. | ||
7. | Tie all 4 strings together to make a hangar. | ||
8. | Hang your wind sock outside to watch the power of the wind! |
Don't hang your paper wind sock outside in a strong wind!
For a stronger wind sock, use fabric and colored netting to make the wind sock.
