STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Print the baby pattern on card stock. Color baby Moses and cut it out.

2.  Print the basket pattern on brown cardstock. Cut out a basket and the 3 slits as shown on the pattern.

3. Tuck the bottom of Baby Moses through the large slit in the basket.  Glue or use double-sided tape to affix into place.

4. Glue or tape blue cloth to the 4" X 4" piece of cardboard.  This is the water of the Nile.

5. Use a few drops of glue to attach the basket to the upper left of the blue construction paper/cardboard.

6. Trace 4 fingers (not the thumb or palm) onto green construction paper.  Cut out.  These are the reeds where Moses' basket was found.  Glue to the bottom right of the blue cloth/cardboard.

7. Cut 3 strands of yarn and tie together at one end.  Braid the yarn and tie the other end.

8.  An adult should use the side slits on the basket to cut through the cardboard.

9. Tuck each end of the yarn through one of the side slits to the back of the cardboard. Adjust braided yarn to desired length and use glue or tape to attach each end to the back of the cardboard.  Cut any excess yarn.
