"Remember and Prepare" Craft
This little cross can be hung next to your bed or in
another special place to remind you of the important work
we each must do to prepare for Easter
beginning on Ash Wednesday
WHAT YOU NEED - 5 craft sticks
- white cardstock
- palms
- paper clip

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS  |
1. Glue two craft sticks together lengthwise (total of 4 sticks used) to form the two pieces of the cross. Set aside to dry.
2. Print the palms onto white card stock and carefully cut out. (There are 8 per sheet)
3. Take the third craft stick and glue it down the middle, covering the seam of one of the previous glued pairs. This will form the upright part of the cross.
4. Glue the cross piece as shown in the picture at left to the underside of the upright.
5. Glue the palms to the cross joint.
6. Flip cross over. Glue the paper clip to the crossbar so that the top loop extends beyond the cross bar. This will make it easy to hang the cross on a pin on the wall, if desired. | | |
