"All Saints" Craft Project

Crafts

Just as Jesus learned many things at the temple, we will grow and learn a lot about our faith this year!

As school begins, you can make an outline of yourself .... Tape it on a wall, and at the end of the year,

see how much taller you've grown ... and celebrate what you've learned!

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Roll of butcher paper
  • Ribbon

              plus

  • scissors
  • colors/colored pencils/markers

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Cut a length of butcher paper a little longer than the child is tall.

2.  Have the child lay on a length of butcher paper and have another person draw his/her outline on the paper using a marker.

3.  Each child can cut out his/her outline.

4.  Draw in a face, clothes, and color the outline.

Variations:  Tape one end of a ribbon to one "shoulder," and tape the other end to the opposite hip.   During the year, add a star or sticker to the ribbon each time you attend Sunday School, complete a Bible lesson, or reach a special milestone.
