We Saw A Star © Copyright Steve Case 1995
One day we looked up and we saw A sight we'd never seen before, A new arrival in the skies Shone brightly there before our eyes.
We saw a star, shining in the sky; We observed it, and we wondered why Such a star should shine so bright, Appearing in the sky that night. And then the truth began to dawn; A new King surely has been born; And we must go without delay; The star will guide us on our way. The star will guide us on our way.
We saw a star, shining oh so bright; And we travelled, following the light; Then it stopped and we saw The new King we'd been searching for. And in that town of Bethlehem We saw the Child and worshipped Him; And we presented to Him there Our gold and frankincense and myrrh, Our gold and frankincense and myrrh.
We saw a star, shining oh so bright; And we travelled, following the light; Then it stopped and we saw The new King we'd been searching for.
