I am proud to be a Lutheran, yes I am,

I am proud to be a Christian, yes I am,

There are different kinds of Christians,

and many great religions,

We can respect them even though we disagree!

Not all people believe in God the way I do,
But we all know that the Golden Rule is true,

So I must respect all others, because we're sisters and brothers,

Part of one big human family!

True faith is a gift from God to all who pray,

Even though we pray to God in different ways,

God comes to us as we are, and we see God from afar,

But we all are children of one Living God!
