The Story of Noah's Ark

    Noah was a good man.  He had a wife and many children.  God told Noah to build a boat because a big flood was coming. Noah followed God's instructions. God told Noah to put two of all the animals on the earth in this big boat and Noah and his family again obeyed God. 

     It started to rain, and it rained for 40 days and 40 nights.  The whole earth flooded, but Noah and his family and their animals were safe on the big boat, called an ark. 

     The rain stopped, but it was a long time before the water went away.  All that time, Noah and his family were very busy taking care of all the animals on the ark. 

    When the water finally dried up, Noah and his family and all the animals left the ark.  They praised God for saving them from the flood.  God promised that he would never let such a terrible flood wipe out the whole earth again.
